“Rent for a week and get over it” says Farmer Mary to people of all ages who think they need to own a small caged pet. And, most (about 98 percent) do get over the idea after a week long highly informative animal hosting experience.
This leads to less buying of small animals who quite often end up at Wake County Animal Shelter or on Craigslist or left in a box📦 at Farmer Mary’s gate.
