😥The historic tobacco barn at Winterpast Farm has been home to many animals over the past 20 years that Farmer Mary has run her popular petting zoo animal rescue in Wake Forest NC.
🫣A lengthy unwanted land battle with her sister has resulted in plans for the old barn to be taken down next Friday.
Farmer May welcomes people who want to salvage the barn wood and metal roofing. She would like help removing a piece of the lower metal roofing to re-use as she tries to create Winterpast 2.0 on the other side of the farm land which the courts “awarded” her.

🛻Farmer Mary is also looking for volunteer help as she is moving twenty years of her petting zoo to the other side of the farm.
🚜Someone with a tractor with a blade to scrape up gravel to move from the existing parking lot to the new entrance is top of the list. Maybe in exchange for barn wood? Nice barn sink and water heater also available.
EVERY day is a Volunteer Workday at Winterpast Farm in Wake Forest NC‼️ Ladders, wheelbarrows, drills, loppers, shovels, pickups 🛻and trailers are all needed.
