While at The Fransiscan School Preschool yesterday Farmer Mary promised the “Mighty Ducks” class (whose turn it was not to see the animals) that she would bring a duck the next day that they could meet.
The children had fun watching Farmer Mary let the big black duck free of its traveling cage and watching it Elmore the fenced playground. The duck had lovely wings with blue and purple appearing in the sunlight.
Here some of the children played “walk like a duck”.
Children interacted with bunnies and guinea pigs and helped “walk” JESSE the baby goat.
Farmer Mary gave enough Petting Zoo business cards to each teacher to send home with the students. She hopes everyone will come visit the farm soon!
