Farmer Mary and son, Alex, took BA BA the black sheep, DANIEL the white sheep and twin baby goats JESSE and JAMES to Hayes Barton Baptist Church this afternoon.
After a Children’s Service, families were allowed into the Living Nativity area to meet and pet the animals.
At 7:00 the Angels, Wisemen, Shepherds and other actors appeared along with music. Cars slowed as they passed and hundreds of people gathered, despite the chilly evening, to view the scene.
Farmer Mary saw several old friends from when she lived in Five points and several families who visit Winterpast Farm regularly. She and her animals have already been invited back next Christmas!
