It has been a busy day at Winterpast Farm. Farmer Mary took most of the bunnies and guinea pigs indoors last night since it was so cold and she has been bringing them back out, adding more hay to each pen, getting maternity pens set up for STAR and MIDNIGHT the very pregnant goats….
A family came to visit and some of them accompanied Farmer Mary on the forest walk and look what we found!
The very first emu egg of the season. Last year the first egg was found on november 29. Come see for yourself!
Later in the day another family enjoyed discovering the big green egg.
On Sunday a regular egg buyer came for her usual dozen and got a surprise treat..a walk in the forest to see the new egg.
Can’t match that fun shopping for eggs at a grocery store!
