Last week 22 children aged 6-16 and a translator arrived late at night from Belarus for a six week stay in Raleigh and Wake Forest North Carolina. Host families including Farmer Mary bring these children to live in their homes which allows them time away from the still contaminated area near the Chernobyl nuclear disaster which happened 30 years ago this past April.
Today the host families and their children and their Belarussian children gathered at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC for some fun together outdoors with animals.
