A very smart young hen is hanging out under a heat lamp this chilly morning with triplet baby goats at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
The farm will be open for visits from 12-5 tomorrow. Please read “Your Visit” at www.winterpast.org.
Please consider donating fruit and veg any time to help Farmer Mary feed all of the animals, especially the nursing mothers who eat ALOT. Most popular are apples, carrots, celery, romaine lettuce, collards, kale,grapes, romaine lettuce, pears, strawberries, tomatoes,also plain Cheerios.
