One of the young peacocks born last July at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. He and the other peacocks would enjoy eating out of your hand next time you visit the farm. He loves plain cheerios, small grapes , raisins, kale, romaine , corn, watermelon and more. You can find a list of food you can bring to feed the animals at “your visit” at www. Winterpast.org.
Please no white or moldy bread or salty snack foods! And please DO NOT offer ANY food to the baby goats or lambs!! They are nursing and just starting to eat hay.
Please read the entire “Your Visit” section at www.winterpast.org to learn how you can schedule a farm visit, our admission price (cash only) and how to “park at a “.
Come snuggle the baby goats! They won’t stay little for long! We may have some more lambs born by then! Maybe LUNAwill finally birth while you are here!
