Good morning from some of the sheep at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. GERMANY, the brown sheep on the right, was donated to Winterpast Farm after most of her flock at a nearby farm was killed overnight by coyotes and the farmer’s freezer was full. Her daughter CINDY LOU was born March 6 this year. Both are full Shetland sheep who have their fleece sheared in the Spring. Both will probably have babies next year between January and March.
Come meet and feed a nice sheep at Winterpast Farm. They love to eat kale, apple slices, carrots and more from farm visitors hands.
