GRACIE the lamb was inspecting the frozen water bottles that Farmer Mary was putting in all the guinea pig and bunny cages early this morning at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. We can always use more donations of Gatorade bottles which Farmer Mary finds are the most impervious to bunny chewing! Some of the small animals drape themselves over the frozen bottles. Others enjoy licking it. Winterpast Farm has deep shade over all the animal cages and hutches but frozen bottles provide the small animals with a special cool spot on these hot North Carolina summer days. 🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑
GRACIE and SUNFLOWER the lambs were both in the front yard enjoying the grass and meeting our handsome new young ram, JAMES. Their mothers finally called them and they are now back in the pasture. 🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑
Looks like the rain will hold off a while so the Zoo will open as planned at noon today. 🐑🐐🐑🐐🐑🐐🐑🐐🐑🐐🐑
