The Wicked Chicken Auction takes place every Sunday at 2:00. You can go early, starting at 1:00, to view the animals up close.
Farmer Mary is always busy on Sundays with either farm tours or away events like birthday parties, so she can’t go. if you decide to go, and see something interesting or cute for sale, call or text Farmer Mary (919-244-1800) to see if she would like to add it to her animals at Winterpast Farm. your family can donAte the animal(s) and then help take care of it/them (to any extent you desire). Right now there are baby quail, baby ducklings, baby chicks and more for sale.
This heated/cooled enclosed auction is family friendly with hot drinks and food for sale. Watching the animals and the auctioneer is a memorable experience. Particularly good on a cold winter day! Here are a few more details about the auction.
