Big Thanks to the “Friend of the Farm” who donated two huge boxes of this particularly nice hay to help Farmer Mary feed all the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Teen volunteers have been taking it around the zoo to give some to all of the guinea pigs and bunnies and now the goats, pigs , sheep and emu are enjoying a fresh hay snack. Emu don’t usually eat hay but this hay is particularly soft and sweet.
Winterpast Farm can always use more hay! It can be purchased on Amazon (Orchard or Timothy)or at Tractor Supply or Southern States (Fescue best but any type eating hay is fine.)
