Some farm visitors get the chance to walk with Farmer Mary and her emu in the way back Forest at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. One of the pair will usually lie down to be petted. The female will lay huge green eggs in the winter and Farmer Mary will have specific times for a tour of the emu nest. Stay tuned!
