New mom at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. This hen had gotten broody (meaning she wanted to sit on eggs and was going to sit on golf balls forever unless Farmer Mary gave her some eggs to hatch) so she was given a few. Yesterday morning she was down from the nest box and sporting this sweet yellow baby by her side.
