Our male peacock is growing out his fancy long tail feathers which he will use to impress the ladies this spring. Lady peacocks are called peahens. They only lay a few eggs in the spring unlike chickens who lay eggs year round. Farmer Mary hopes her new white peahen will have extra pretty babies this year.
