Winterpast Farm has hosted pre-schools, Scout goups, Mom groups, Homeschooler groups and public school groups. One time we had 150 second graders here! Farmer Mary hired a few farmer and a forestor friend to help that time! There is plenty of parking and school buses can get in and out easily.
2017 The animals of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo drew record crowds tonight (Dec 23) at the second night of Live Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. 🐕ASLAN (formerly GRAY boy) Golden Retriever puppy is on his way home to his forever family in Charlotte. Farmer Mary made sure he was well exercised today so he would sleep on the car ride home. Farm visitors of all ages enjoyed helping walk him on a leash in the back pasture and use his new name. Farmer Mary just got an update that he slept in the car and is settling in well and is approved by the resident pets-a cat and dog.
🥧PUMPKIN PIE’s 9 Golden Retriever pups born April 29 all have families now and forever names: SADIE, ROSIE, FRANKLIN, CHIEF, BEAR, MILLIE, LIVY, LUCY, ASLAN. Can anyone comment which forever names go with which original collar colors? ❤️💜💙💛💚🧡💗
🐕🐕🐕 LIZZIE LOU’s three darling Goldendoodle pups are ten days old and pretty much nursing and sleeping then nursing and sleeping.

The more people a puppy meets the better adjusted they will be when they leave Winterpast Farm to join their forever families. Early socializing and exposure to people, sounds and a variety of experiences affect the puppy for life.

🐕🐕🐕The one week old Goldendoodles spend most of their time nursing and sleeping in a maternity pool under a red heat lamp so photos and videos are yellow. 📸This quick outdoor photo shoot today shows their true colors. Their Dad is HENRY an English Cream Golden Retriever who is all white. Their Goldendoodle Mom, LIZZZIE LOU, is mostly light gold. 🐖Please look for the VERY VERY well marked entrance to Winterpast Farm at 12936 Ghoston Road in Wake Forest NC. There is a huge Petting Zoo sign at the road and an 8’plywood llama there as well as directional arrows pointing towards the proper entrance.
⚠️DO NOT turn down Farmer Mary’s neighbors private Road behind the old tobacco barn when your GPS says to. Guess who the neighbors then get annoyed at?????
🐷Please park at a plywood pig 🐷. Please pull up very close to the pig as possible as someone will probably be parking on the other side of the parking lot right behind you. If the parking lot is full (usually because people do not make an appointment and then do not park mindfully) then park with all four wheels off the road out front on Ghoston Road where it is mostly very flat.
