For $50 you get the animal, cage, feed and everything you need for a week long educational animal experience. Winterpast Farm has hosted pre-schools, Scout goups, Mom groups, Homeschooler groups and public school groups. One time we had 150 second graders here! Farmer Mary hired a few farmer and a forestor friend to help that time! There is plenty of parking and school buses can get in and out easily.
2017 The animals of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo drew record crowds tonight (Dec 23) at the second night of Live Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. A group from Lindley College in Cary brought vans full of adult clients with special intellectual abilities out to visit Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC this afternoon.
🐐🐇🐑🐖🐓🦃Everyone enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals, walking through the back pasture and forest to discover the annual emu nest with enormous bright green eggs, and holding guinea pigs and bunnies. Farmer Mary’s dogs were the most popular with everyone with ROSIE the Great Dane being the most petted.

The skies kept changing from black to blue all afternoon while Farmer Mary had her Mobile Petting Zoo in Apex at a neighborhood Fall Festival. SUGAR the lamb, HARRY STYLES, BAKED POTATO, DOLLY&LOLLY the guinea pigs, COCOPUFF the Lionhead bunny, CHARLES & CAROLINE the big lop ear bunnies and the pair of quacking ducks were a huge hit with all ages who enjoyed meeting, petting and feeding.
The animals are all back at Winterpast Farm now and probably telling their animal friends all about their outing. They hope to see YOU soon at the farm! OPEN SUNDAY 12-5.
