Did you know you can host a pet from Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest North Carolina? For $50 you get the animal, cage, feed and everything you need for a week long educational animal experience. Winterpast Farm has hosted pre-schools, Scout goups, Mom groups, Homeschooler groups and public school groups. One time we had 150 second graders here! Farmer Mary hired a few farmer and a forestor friend to help that time! There is plenty of parking and school buses can get in and out easily.
2017 The animals of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo drew record crowds tonight (Dec 23) at the second night of Live Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. Friends of the farm may remember reading about the Pekin duck a kind person found and dropped off at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Look how much better her neck looks! “LUCKY” is also taking an interest in her appearance which is a sign that she feels better. She has a hen with baby chicks living in her pen and our female peacock often drops by for chats.

R.I.P. sweet little MAX who has been well loved by the Farmers Daughter and all age farm visitors since Farmer Mary found him in the middle of the road many years ago. He will be sadly missed at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo. He will be buried next to his old best friend BARNEY the ancient dachshund on blueberry hill just past the pond at Winterpast.❤️
