Did you know you can host a pet from Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest North Carolina? For $50 you get the animal, cage, feed and everything you need for a week long educational animal experience. Winterpast Farm has hosted pre-schools, Scout goups, Mom groups, Homeschooler groups and public school groups. One time we had 150 second graders here! Farmer Mary hired a few farmer and a forestor friend to help that time! There is plenty of parking and school buses can get in and out easily.
2017 The animals of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo drew record crowds tonight (Dec 23) at the second night of Live Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. Tonight Farmer Mary went with an all white theme with sheep CHARLIE BROWN and his pregnant wife, CINDY LOU and goats THOMAS and his pregnant wife, BUTTERCUP. Big Thanks to the Boyd family who recently donated these great gifts through the Amazon Wish List for Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. The bunnies need food daily. 🐇The hay mats are mostly for entertainment and some nibbling in bunny cages. Farmer Mary has learned to zip tie them to the cage wall. The tarps are already being used protecting piles of split wood for the whole house woodstove from this big snow and the salt wheels will be zip tied inside each bunny and guinea pig cage. Did you know you can host a small animal in your home for a week through Farmer Mary’s unique Pet Hosting Program? If you or friends get cat 🐈 litter in these type jugs or if you get anything other than milk in gallon jugs please donate the empties to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary uses them daily for water.
🐈On really cold mornings the former cat litter jugs are sturdy enough for the very hot water Farmer Mary takes from her bathtub to all the animals outside.
🐈⬛These jugs in the wagon are waiting to be filled with hot water tomorrow morning. 🔥The larger ones are also used to take water out to the far back pasture on bonfire nights to douse the flames when the bonfire event is over.
🐱Please share with cat owning friends who might like to know their empty plastic jug will be used again and again and again.
