For $50 you get the animal, cage, feed and everything you need for a week long educational animal experience. Winterpast Farm has hosted pre-schools, Scout goups, Mom groups, Homeschooler groups and public school groups. One time we had 150 second graders here! Farmer Mary hired a few farmer and a forestor friend to help that time! There is plenty of parking and school buses can get in and out easily.
2017 The animals of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo drew record crowds tonight (Dec 23) at the second night of Live Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. Sweet ROSIE the new Great Dane puppy was inspecting some fancy corn donated to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. 🌽Farmer Mary will add this to the $5 mixed feed buckets she sells at the farm. Farm visitors can loosen the kernels and feed them to the birds (emu, chickens, ducks, peacocks, guineas), sheep and goats. Some of the guinea pigs like to eat corn. BTW: ROSIE really does have four legs-this pic oddly makes her look like she has just two!
🐐Winterpast Farm will be open tomorrow for visits 10-5. Maybe the baby goats will start to be born while you are here!
