Farm visitors are given the opportunity to pick a hand painted (by Farmer Mary) rock to take with them after a farm visit to hide locally or even while away on vacation for someone else to find. That person can then bring the rock back to Winterpast Farm and get one free admission!

If you would like to take a rock to hide, just ask Farmer Mary next time you are visiting Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo. Then, find a good place to hide it (preferably a park or somewhere a family or persons interested in a farm visit might be) and text a photo of the rock where you hid it so Farmer Mary can post the hide on her FB page and Instagram. If you find a rock please text a photo to Farmer Mary at 919-244-1800 and she will help you set up your farm visit.

Please don’t hide them inside a business or anywhere a company might find annoying.
Please hide one at a time so we can spread the word about our little farm to more people.
Place lighter rocks on darker backgrounds and darker rocks on lighter backgrounds.

Farmer Mary has been selling her “Visit Rocks” mostly to grandparents who are happy to find a truly unique and locally made stocking stuffer for their grandchildren who love visiting Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
Hand painted by Farmer Mary, the rocks are one more way you can support a small local farm family and animal rescue.
Visit Rocks can be purchased for the same cost of a farm visit. Rocks with two painted animals are twice the cost and mean your child can bring a friend along!
Rocks can be turned in to Farmer Mary at the time of visit and they will be endlessly recycled. A paid farm visit is not required for the purchase of visit rocks.
