Peacock feathers are for sale for $5 at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. The male peacock naturally molts his fancy feathers each year after the season of love. The sale of his feathers helps to feed his wife and children. Our new white female peacock (called a peahen) is finally setting on eggs right now!!!!!!
Some people buy the really long peacock feathers to play with their cats. The barbed feathers help to clean the cats teeth!
Come visit Winterpast Farm and see and feed our sweet peacocks.
