Farmer Mary spied one of her Black Shoulder peacocks setting on a nest just outside the fence by the old tobacco barn at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. She is going to try to catch the peacock at night and move her and her nest to a much safer place. Right now the peacock is not safe from neighbors dogs or other predators. The other peahens hang out just inside the fenceline near her during the day to give her company. Wish Farmer Mary luck with moving the nest!
