VINNIE the hedgehog came outside for a short while today and had some lap time with COOKIE the baby bunny at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. When it is cold VINNIE stays inside Farmer Mary’s house since he can’t take the cold temperature. In a few weeks he will be moving to a farm volunteers nice warm home for the remainder of the winter. Farmer Mary’s old drafty 1730’s house is not the warmest even with the whole house wood stove going.
The farm is open for visits this Sunday from 12-5. Please SHARE with friends who have a house full of relatives.
Many out of town visitors enjoy a visit to Winterpast Farm over Thanksgiving and many locals are happy to walk off holiday overindulgences or to just get outside for a while.
