🦃YOUNG THOMAS, the Royal Palm turkey, is ready for love 💕 this time of year at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Turkeys are seasonal breeders and soon his wife TURKEY LURKEY will be laying her speckled eggs. 🥚🥚Farmer Mary hopes to have babies hatch this year. Did you know baby turkeys are called “poults”?
🐑🦚Winterpast Farm will be open next for visits on Wednesday from 10 til rain (or 5:00). Right now the forecast is for rain that day which may close the farm for visits. Please check back for any weather related updates. Farmer Mary will post at 8am.
