🐰CHOCOLATE the bunny is enjoying chilling at a local teen’s birthday slumber party in Raleigh. This surprise guest was a huge hit! A local Mom arranged to host CHOCOLATE through Farmer Mary’s Pet Hosting Program at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
🐰Did you know you can host a bunny, guinea pig, hedgehog, ducklings and chicks temporarily? Great animal experience for families and individuals considering adopting a small caged pet. About 98 percent get right over the idea after a highly informative week!
🐥Great reward for hard working children, a unique “study buddy” for home schoolers, nice Birthday surprise for any age person who loves animals. Consider gifting a favorite preschool teacher with a temporary classroom pet! (Ask first!)
🐰The hosting program is very popular with local Animal Control and the Wake County Animal Shelter because it keeps many people from buying small animals as pets and then dumping them in public parks or at the shelter. Pet Hosting helps Farmer Mary be able to continue to care for and to feed all the animals living at Winterpast Farm.
