Learn MoreLots of new and regular farm visitors came to Winterpast Farm today and enjoyed spending time outdoors with sweet animals, family, and friends on this lovely sunny day.
When the farm is busy please PARK MINDFULLY and CLOSE together in the limited parking lot. Today overflow parked on Ghoston Road, which is fine, but a policeman stopped by to ask that two cars with their tires on the road move farther off the pavement. Another overflow parking option is Waterline Road just past the farm entrance. DO NOT PARK on Neasdon Road which is a private road behind the barn.
When you tell friends about the farm please tell them to check the “your visit” section of the website and tell them they need to make an appointment to visit. Please tell them to bring food for animals. The full list is at “your visit” on the website along with very detailed information about visiting the farm.
THANK YOU for spreading the word and for supporting a small, local farm family.
Farmer Mary helped celebrate a 5th birthday at winterpast Farm today. The Birthday family brought lots of food for the animals including carrots, grapes, cereal, bread, celery and apple slices. Farmer Mary helped arrange it in her green buckets, then children could fill brown ” feed bags” with a mixture to take round to feed the animals.
Children and adults enjoyed feeding THOMAS the big turkey, chickens, DORIS the goose, lots of bunnies, goats, lambs, sheep, emu, LUCKY the llama, the donkeys and more.
Farmer Mary helped some visitors bottle feed DAVID the baby lamb.
Then it was time for an egg hunt along the forest path..in one place plastic eggs were nestled with a real emu egg!
We walked with BA BA the little black sheep and the emu…then it was time for cupcakes and the pinata.
Birthdays are always fun at Winterpast Farm!
