DONNA the baby goat 🐐and SUNFLOWER the little lamb🐑 were off on a big adventure yesterday morning! They went to St. David’s School in Raleigh for the annual Senior Golf Cart Parade which has a farm theme this year. Farmer Mary hopes to get some pics from the event she will post here later.

With colder weather quickly approaching, Farmer Mary will be counting on @larryscoffee to donate empty coffee bean bags which will provide the first layer of insulation to animal cages, hutches, shelves in the heated garage and flooring for the maternity pens the goats and sheep will use in Jan/Feb.
Volunteers are always needed especially when winterizing pens begins as it is a gradual process as the weather cools. Read the Volunteer section at www.winterpast.org.
❤️Good news for those who have been following the zoo lately is that it looks like Winterpast Farm and Farmer Mary’s home will be safe, just on considerably fewer acres. The legal system moves very slowly so we apologize that updates have been few and far between. However, the GoFundMe will continue as a possible buyout of the back acres is still what Farmer Mary dreams about. ❤️BIG THANKS to all of our supporters during this very hard time.
