BTW: Not a happy conversation topic here😥. Please don’t ask Farmer Mary where the goats are. Of course she rehomed all her large animals to wonderful new homes. Of course she isn’t particularly happy to talk about the past. You can read MANY very detailed old posts from earlier this year to learn more.
📭There is a new entrance just down the road from the old one at the same address. Please look VERY closely for the new entrance marked with a mailbox and yellow arrows at 12936 Ghoston Road. Farmer Mary suggests you tap your brakes a few times as you get close if a car is following you as it’s a VERY busy road at times. Look for the new entrance.

All ages enjoy feeding the birds at Winterpast Farm in Wake Forest NC. Chickens 🐓 , ducks 🦆 and peacocks 🦚 will all eat nicely from your hands. 🐐🐐The Farmer’s Daughter and Farmer Mary greatly enjoy providing service to their community along with the animals at Winterpast Farm in Wake Forest NC.
☀️This morning they took two bunnies to Hilltop Home in Raleigh.🐰🐰This is sweet MARSHMALLOW and TUCEDO who are the children of OREO the lop eared bunny who was donated to Winterpast Farm along with her children. These two were adopted together and are much loved pets. They have been on a FarmStay vacation at Winterpast Farm while their humans are vacationing.
🏠🧑🦼➡️👩🏾🦽➡️🧑🏿🦽➡️This residential intermediate care facility is home for medically fragile kids with significant motor and cognitive disabilities.
🐐🦮🐰Farmer Mary and the Farmers Daughter have taken baby goats, Golden Retriever puppies, guinea pigs and bunnies visits to Hilltop Home. Maybe next time we will take some quacky ducks!
👍🏽If YOU have any sweet animals and would like to volunteer to take them for a brief visit with these children who really need some outside enrichment please Farmer Mary who will put you in touch with the Director. A visit like that sure puts things in perspective.
🥰Seeing the really serious lifelong disabilites these children live with and meeting the very kind caring staff was a great way for Farmer Mary to spend the morning away from her own current troubles at Winterpast Farm.
