Farmer Mary enjoyed taking her mobile petting zoo to Carpenter Elementary School in Cary this evening. The Angora bunnies and KATIE the little golden hen and the 5 day old baby chicks and guinea pigs all got alot of attention and loving laps and snacks.
VINNIE the hedgehog was petted and enjoyed some time in a grassy pen with guinea pig and bunny pals. BETSY the goat was walked and walked and she ate and ate and ate the carrots and celery and kale the students offered her. BETSY loves to be hand fed.
They will all be hungry again by morning so come visit Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. Open for visits this Saturday from 10-5.
