Chicks are hatching (under the barn sink!) at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest Nc.🥚🐣🐥Farmer Mary has a sweet one eyed hen who just loves to make a secret nest and then set on her eggs under the barn sink. Today the eggs started to hatch and this chick was half stuck in its shell and being stepped on so Farmer Mary took it to care for. It has since come out of the egg and will be fluffing up under a heat lamp in a hastily constructed baby nursery in a chick brooder.🥚🐣🐥
🌧Rain has closed the farm to visitors for the rest of the day. The farm will be open next for visits on Monday.

🐐🐑Come meet and snuggle the baby goats and baby lambs. We have six baby goats and two baby lambs so far. They don’t stay little long! 🐑🐐Please DO NOT try to feed the baby goats or the lambs anything while you are here-they only drink their moms milk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
