DAISY THE POLKA DOT PIG


DAISY the polka dot pig (now North Carolina red clay mud colored) enjoyed a stroll through the blooming back pasture of Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC today. 

DAISY was donated to Winterpast Farm because she “got too big”. She was originally a $3000 pig that the breeder said would stay under 35 pounds. Pigs grow and grow and grow for many years. Farmer Mary gets offered a pet pig at least once a week year after year. Come meet DAISY. She will “sit” for food treats like apple slices, carrots, grapes, strawberries…
