Tonight Farmer Mary went to her second class at Sertoma Art Center in a course of making clay creatures. Fish were the topic and one that Farmer Mary made looks like a fish. The other one seems to be a cross between a fish and lizard and dragon…it will be very interesting to see it fired and glazed eventually. The peacock from last week shown here on the left had some tail support added and will dry this week and then go in the kiln for the first firing before glazing. Next week is turtles!
One day these might be part of the decoration or for sale at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC.
