FEED THE ANIMALS AT WINTERPAST

Most of our visitors bring food to feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary usually has $5 mixed buckets (yellow buckets shown here contain a couple of carrots, celery, some kale, an apple, whole wheat crackers, some cereal and a small orange) for sale and some single items for a dollar. Most visitors bring food from home and some stop at the grocery store on the way. The big favorite is kale or romaine lettuce then apple slices and grapes and carrots. Whole wheat bread or crackers or cereal is very popular. A full list of foods the animals like is found at the “your visit” page at www.winterpast.org.

Please read the entire “your visit” post which covers admission, parking, lists food to bring, reminds you not to turn down the neighbors private road behind the barn at Winterpast Farm just because your GPS tells you to and more visit tips.
