Farmer Mary was at Tractor Supply Co. (55 Gatekeeper Dr, Youngsville, NC) last night picking up some animal feed. Farm visitors often assume that the carrots and apples they bring are all the food the animals eat. Not so!
Farmer Mary spends about $600 a month on animal feed plus hay and seasonal items. She can always use donations of animal feed including chicken pellets, chick feed, whole corn, rabbit and guinea pig food, any type goat or sheep feed, Timothy or alfalfa hay.
