FLEECE BLANKET DONATIONS APPRECIATED BY ANIMALS AS COLD WEATHER NEARS

OPAL the bunny is snuggled into a soft warm fleece blanket donated just today (in time for our first really cold night) to the animals of Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary can use donations of any old comforters, towels, pillow cases (perfect to line the guinea pig and bunny cages) fleece blankets…old sleeping bags with broken zipper are considered quite perfect here. Tarps, thick plastic also can be used to cover cages and help insulate pens as the weather cools.

Winterpast Farm will be open Sunday for visits 12 til 5. Get outdoors while this nice sunny weather lasts!
Please read “your visit” at www.winterpast.org which explains admission, how to park at a pig, how not to go down the neighbors private road behind the Winterpast barn even if your GPS says to turn there, and lists food you can bring to feed the animals.
