👍BIG THANKS to the very kind Friend of the Farm who donated this hay to help Farmer Mary (and the Farmers Daughter pictured here) feed the animals living at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. We can use many types of hay including Alfalfa, Orchard, Timothy, Fescue.
💲Costs go up in winter with extra electricity, feeding more feed and hay while admission numbers go down so try to visit or donate to help Farmer Mary continue to care for and feed all the animals living at Winterpast Farm. It also helps ALOT if you comment or share posts.

❄️Farm visits in very cold winter are different from other times of the year. You are welcome to visit and feed the bunnies in the heated garage and feed and pet the sheep, goats, pigs and donkey out at the barn. You can also take a walk to see the emu nest in the far back forest.

🐏Please look for the VERY VERY well marked entrance at 12936 Ghoston Road in Wake Forest. DO NOT turn down Farmer Mary’s neighbors private Road behind the barn when your GPS says to.
😷Volunteers are always needed to help with basic animal care like feeding/watering. We also need help spreading mulch. Read the “Volunteer”pages winterpast.org.
