MABEL and CLAIRE are miniature donkeys who moved to Winterpast Farm petting zoo several years ago when a 4-H program closed. They love to greet visitors with their loud bray and are easy to pet and feed. They both love apple slices, carrots, grapes, kale and most veggies and fruits. They both travel with Farmer Mary to some Live Nativities at local churches around Christmas.
Winterpast Farm Schedule:
CLOSED Sat Jan 21 while Farmer Mary attends a Wildlife Rehab conference at the NCSU Vet School
CLOSED Sun Jan 22 for 2nd day
OPEN Mon Jan 23 from 10-5(emu nest tour 11:30,1:30,4:00)
CLOSED Tues Jan 24-Jury Duty. Farmer Mary can’t post any more open weekday hours until she finds out how long the case will run.
OPEN Sat Jan 28 from 10-5 (emu nest tour 11:30,1:30,4:00)
OPEN Sun Jan 29 from 12-5 (emu nest tour 1:30,4:00)
