Farmer Mary is inventing a new #muddymonday photo event! Here is FRANKLIN the former pet “mini” pig at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Sweet FRANKLIN has very recently discovered the joy of mud! He will be loving the big pig puddle out by the old tobacco barn once the weather warms up a bit!
🐖🐖🐖Yesterday Farmer Mary saw him with the older girl pigs DAISY and PEG-LEG basking together in the sun under a huge pine tree in the back pasture. They are starting to form a really friendly group. Did you know that a group of young pigs is called a drift, drove or litter? Groups of older pigs are called a sounder of swine, a team or a passel. 🐖The farm will be open again today from 10-3. 🐖We will have lots of baby goats available as well as our other sweet animals.
