Thanks to @elitewasteservices for delivering this pumpkin colored potty today to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary has tried to decorate that corner of the parking lot as best she can with donated pumpkins. 
Farmer Mary does NOT have to have a potty at all for farm visitors. She had a perfectly nice “Humanore” composting toilet which someone recently complained about. It would have been nice if that person had chosen to talk to Farmer Mary directly about her concerns instead of complaining loudly on Facebook. (Bet that person won’t ever volunteer either at this small local zoo which takes in all of Wake Forests unwanted pets.)
The Winterpast Farm website has ALWAYS explained very clearly that there is only a composting toilet available for visitors but this person obviously didn’t bother to read the very detailed “your visit” section at www.winterpast.org.
Come try it out next time you schedule a visit! If you have friends who bicycle
on Ghoston Road assure them that the new potty and sink in the barn are available for their use.
If your child needs to use it during a visit please plan to accompany them through the gate (and shut the gate firmly) and through the parking lot and wait until they are done then head together back through the gate, maybe stopping to wash hands in the barn (and shutting the door there firmly as Farmer Mary has a heater there to keep the sink pipes from freezing) then again opening (and shutting!!!!) the gate to the Petting Zoo area.
