Did you know you can rent pets from Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest Nc? This bunny was used for Senior photos. Farmer Mary mostly rents bunnies and guinea pigs by the week to discourage buying small pets. Sometimes people rent to gift a favorite teacher with a temporary classroom pet (ask the teacher first!).
Farmer Mary has also rented goats to be in a wedding, to go hang out on a walk in a nearby park, to entertain at a girls slumber party, to entertain at an elderly persons birthday and several times she has rented to a high school boy for a “prom-posal” to ask a girl to go with him to praaaaaaam. The girl has always said yes!
Farmer Mary has rented a baby lamb on a bottle, baby chicks, a sweet rooster for Senior photos, a pig to talk someone out of buying one (it worked!) and baby ducklings. Read more at Pet Rental at www.winterpast.org.
