Steady rain still at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. The forecast keeps extending more rain further into the afternoon so Farmer Mary has decided to close Winterpast Farm to visitors today.
Farmer Mary cannot magically keep seating dry and the larger animals are hanging out of sight in the old tobacco barn. Farmer Mary can’t get bunnies and guinea pigs out to hold since they can’t get wet. Please make plans to visit Winterpast Farm on another nicer day!
BTW: Farmer Mary can always use help with care and feeding the animals as well as setting up some maternity pens and spreading huge piles of mulch this time of year. Please read the Volunteer pages at www.winterpast.org and text Farmer Mary to get started!
