Good morning from Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC!
******************
A really good “Friend of the Farm” dropped off this wonderful load of animal feed and hay last night to help Farmer Mary continue to care for and feed all the animals now living at Winterpast Farm. The animals and Farmer Mary really appreciate the gifts! It saves Farmer Mary a trip to the feed store today!

Farmer Mary is out side by the old tobacco barn waiting for a nice local husband who is picking up a baby lamb to surprise his lamb loving wife in her birthday this morning. Guess he will raise the bar for birthday surprises! #whataguy *******************
Farmer Mary just saw all of her peacocks going across the street in her neighbors yard so she alerted them to start looking around for peacock nests on the ground. This is the season of nesting and a Black Shoulder female peacock hasn’t been seen for a few days. The neighbors have a huge wooded yard and best of all, no dogs! Perfect safe place until it comes time to walk the babies back across busy Ghoston Road to the zoo! Farmer Mary is blessed with neighbors who love all the animals at Winterpast Farm!

Today is a work day 10-5 at Winterpast Farm. Come help with a wide variety of farm chores and projects from moving cages to spreading mulch and taking loads to the dump. The zoo is closed for visits until tomorrow. Serious workers only today please. Farmer Mary’s sons are coming as their Mothers Day gift.❤️
Thank you for supporting a small local farm family animal rescue.
