The Frizzle breed chicken was posing today at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC with a very strange new bird who never moves.
Farmer Mary spent all day with her daughter and some great volunteers finishing the heated garage space and moving all the bunnies and guinea pigs there where they will all live for the next few super cold days. She is hoping for a pretty snow and for the power to stay on! So far we have just had a tiny bit of off and on rain.
Farmer Mary has scheduled several pasture walks each day to take farm visitors on a walk to see the emu eggs in the nests. This is a once a year opportunity. Be on time if you want to come along! If you can get here we will be here! Text Farmer Mary if you plan to visit
