🦚Papa peacock was flirting with his lovely wife (females are called Peahens) who is busy raising babies (called peachicks) out in the back pasture of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
🦚Come on a farm visit and the males will eat out of your hands. Have YOU met Farmer Mary’s all white male peacock?!Romaine, corn, plain cheerios, kale, whole wheat ritz crackers, grapes are all favorite food. If you look over the fence into the back pasture you may get a glimpse of the mom and babies while you are here.
🌧Right now it looks like rain may close the farm for visits early tomorrow. Farmer Mary hopes to have the farm open at 10 but the forecast keeps changing. Please check back for posted weather updates at 8am.
