Farmer Mary and some of her animals visited the preschoolers at Richland Creek Community Church this morning.

Teachers and Moms helped hold guinea pigs and bunnies for children to pet and Farmer Mary helped children pet a baby guinea pig and JESSE the baby goat. Several classes were studying the five senses, so Farmer Mary pointed out the hard horns, soft ears and other differences between the animals. Some children heard the baby guinea pigs squeaking.

The church had the perfect area for Farmer Mary to set up on a “might rain” day. Thankfully, the rain held off until Farmer Mary was loading her car and then stopped when she got back to the farm so she could unload all the animals.

Farmer Mary is happy to talk with you about bringing her animals to churches, schools and more.
