EMU NEST PASTURE WALK

The emu have started laying their amazing huge green eggs once again at Winterpast Farm a Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC!

Farmer Mary will be taking groups at VERY specific times on a walk way back through the pasture into the back forest to see the nest at exactly 10am, 1pm and 4pm on Monday January 21. If you are late you will have to wait for the next time. This is not a time for petting pigs or hanging out in the barnyard although goats and sheep may join the walk and can be petted. The walk will not include lingering in the back pasture.

A few fresh emu eggs are for sale for foodies. ($25) An egg will be available for holding by careful visitors for truly unique photos.

Farmer Mary will have a few more dates with VERY specific times listed in comments at Winterpast Farm on FB and at a blog post at www.winterpast.org.

Please read “your visit” at www.winterpast.org to learn how you can schedule a farm visit with the special bonus of viewing the emu nest. No extra charge for pasture walk. Free admission currently for all federal employee families affected by the government shutdown. Please plan to be on time. If you are late you will have to wait for the next time.
