FARMERS DAUGHTER HEADING TO BOONE SOON

Hard to believe that the Farmer’s Daughter heads off to a two year “Scholars With Diverse Abilities” college program at Appalachian State University in Boone in just a few weeks!

When Farmer Mary adopted Elizabeth at age 7 from Russia the orphanage said she would never count past three. Farmer Mary replied that Svetlana (Elizabeth’s Russian name and now her middle name) would still be better off counting to three at her farm in a real family. Look how far she’s come!

Farmer Mary will be posting her campus address soon and is sure Elizabeth would appreciate some mail and drawings from her farm fans.

Elizabeth’s dog MAX will really miss her at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC! Also pictured is bottle baby goat CAITLINN who Elizabeth helped to bottle feed many late nights and early mornings after she was donated to the farm when someone realized they really didn’t need a pet baby goat.

Thanks to Farmer Mary’s youngest son, Thomas, for the annual “Field of Gold” family portraits in the blooming back pasture of Winterpast Farm. #fieldofgold #elizabeth #adoptyournextchild #blessedlife #lovedogs #winterpastfarm #abilitiesnotdisabilities
