A young farm visitor enjoyed feeding sweet JERRY the lop eared bunny who is vacationing at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC this summer while his human is in California for an internship. JERRY is staying in Farmer Mary’s rustic log cabin hutch which she moves onto fresh grass every day or two.
We have a wide variety of bunnies to meet, feed and hold at Winterpast Farm. Most are former pets. Did you know that you can rent a bunny and take it home for a week? Read more at the Pet Rental section at www.winterpast.org.
Farmer Mary’s unique Pet Rental Program discourages most people from buying a pet bunny. “Rent for a week and get over it” says Farmer Mary.
A bunny rental can also be a truly unique “temporary classroom pet” gift for a favorite teacher.please help spread the word about pet rental and help Farmer Mary recycle existing pets instead of creating more.
