This is MAXINE the Lop eared bunny who loves to nibble on the stems of fresh Maple leaves. She also likes carrots, apple slices, kale, green beans and other veggies our farm visitors bring to feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
Farmer Mary is watching the weather and hopes to be open today for visits from 12-5. Rain will close the farm since she can’t keep benches dry for animal holding and bunnies and guinea pigs don’t like to get wet. When it rains the pastured animals head to the barn out of sight of our visitors. Check in before coming. Texting ONLY – 919-244-1800.
